Hannover striker linked with Premier League move
Hannover 96 could face a huge fight to keep hold of star forward Niclas Fullkrug as a host of Premier League sides are said to be keen.
Fullkrug managed 16 goals in all competitions for Hannover last season, including 14 in the Bundesliga, to finish as the club’s top scorer.
The 25-year-old was rated as an outside contender to sneak into the Germany World Cup squad but ultimately he was overlooked by Joachim Low.
Hannover are reluctant to sell but know this summer could be their last chance to command a big fee for the striker, as he has two years left on his current deal.
It has now been claimed a host of English clubs are considering moves for the striker, with Leicester, Newcastle, West Ham, Watford and newly-promoted sides Wolves and Cardiff all keen to lure Fullkrug away from the Niedersachsenstadion.
It has been claimed Hannover have already received a bid in the region of 15million euros for Fullkrug but such a figure is unlikely to tempt them into cashing-in on their star forward.
