Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller says he hopes to make a return to face Hertha Berlin on Wednesday night.
The encounter at the Allianz Arena sees the only two teams Bundesliga teams to preserve their 100 percent records following the first three games of the campaign go head to head.
Muller, along with skipper Philipp Lahm and David Alaba, has been struggling with a virus in the camp which has not helped matters for manager Carlo Ancelotti.
However Muller hopes he can play some part in the encounter with high-flying Hertha.
“I’ll have to see how the next few days of training go,” he told FCB.de.
“I could start, but I don’t believe I can yet manage the 90 minutes.”
