Burnley striker Andre Gray has been suspended for four matches for posting homophobic comments on Twitter in 2012.
Gray has been found guilty of misconduct in relation to comments he posted on social media by the FA and will miss the Clarets' next four games.
The 25-year-old was charged by the FA for bringing the game into disrepute over homophobic posts he made on Twitter four years ago.
He apologised and asked "for forgiveness" for the posts, saying he was now a "different person".
Both Burnley and the player have accepted the four-game suspension.
