Midfielder set for exit

Burnley are considering selling Scott Arfield this month rather than lose him for nothing, according to reports.

The Clarets are keen for the 29-year-old to stay at Turf Moor but he is out of contract in the summer and unless he can be persuaded to sign a new deal before then he would be available on a free.

Burnley may decide to sell him this month in order to get a return, rather than let him walk away for nothing, and a figure of £2m has been mentioned as a starting price.

Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace, David Moyes at West Ham and Chris Hugton at Brighton are all being linked with a move for the midfielder this month.
