Celtic youngsters set for chance

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has hinted he may look to reward some of the youngsters in his squad against Partick Thistle.

The Scottish champions have performed strongly this season under their new manager and already sit 11 points clear of second-placed Rangers.

Celtic are currently on a run of 20 games unbeaten domestically and Rodgers sees it as the perfect opportunity to rotate his squad during a busy nine-game December.

The Northern Irishman has a history of developing young talent and may draft in some of the Under-20 squad for Tuesday's clash with Partick Thistle.

Rodgers said: "My job fundamentally coming here was to win trophies, to play attacking football the Celtic way and to bring young players through.

"So we will look to see if there are any young players we can maybe look at over the next few games."
