Commons heads for Parkhead exit

Celtic's Kris Commons is on the verge of an emergency loan switch to Championship leaders Hibs.

Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon is keen to be reunited with the 33-year-old and Commons, who has not featured under Brendan Rodgers at Parkhead, could make his move in time to face Morton on Saturday.

Commons is set to complete an emergency loan switch to Easter Road and it is expected that he will then extend his stay with Hibs until the end of the season in the January transfer window.

The former Derby County man is due to fall out of contract at Celtic Park in the summer and it appears as if he has played his last game for the Scottish champions.
