Warnock in line for new deal

Cardiff City

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock is understood to be close to signing a new deal with the club.

The former Sheffield United and Crystal Palace manager is due to fall out of contract at the end of the season but it seems as if he is close to agreeing an extension.

Warnock, who joined the Bluebirds in October 2016, is on course to secure at least a play-off place with the Welsh side this season but he is expected to stay on regardless of whether or not the club earn promotion.

Cardiff are currently second in the Championship table, four points ahead of Aston Villa in third and six adrift of leaders Wolves.
