Sunderland are now second from bottom in the Championship table after they fell to a 3-1 defeat to Reading last weekend.
Coleman has guided his team to just one win since he arrived at the Stadium of Light, with their success over Burton the only positive so far.
Against the Royals, he fielded a number of young players, with Joel Asoro grabbing the headlines.
Coleman now claims Asoro could push on and he is willing to use a number of young players going forward.
He told BBC Newcastle: "Joel's looked very lively - he's got good pace and good intent.
"There's good energy and, I think, no fear. Forget about who's injured because they can't help us. It doesn't matter who's young or old or whatever. It's who's fit and we've got to go with them."
