Midfielder’s Cottage move back on

Fulham have revived their interest in Ghana's Derek Boateng after Ukrainian side Dnipro scuppered his proposed move in January.

Boateng has now freed himself from his contract with Dnipro after he won his case at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland.

And the work permit that the Cottagers obtained for him when they agreed the deal with Dnipro in January is still valid.

The 29-year-old Ghana international was in dispute with his Ukrainian club earlier this year and also held talks with Olympiakos – yet still found that Dnipro would not let him go.

Now, as a free agent, Boateng is back on Martin Jol’s wanted list as he bids to strengthen his midfield for next season.
