The on-loan Newcastle forward has scored three goals in his last three games since joining the Cottagers in January following a dismal first half of the season at St James’ Park.
The Serbia international believes Fulham’s style of play suits him much more than the way Newcastle were playing under Rafa Benitez and he’s delighted to be making a big impact at Craven Cottage.
‘It’s a different style we play here,’ he said. ‘The players enjoy the football more than last season with Newcastle, where we knew how we wanted to play.
‘We always played on the results – that’s it. We always try to score more goals than the opponent. Newcastle was more tactical set up. We didn’t play as much attacking football as we play now.
‘Obviously, it worked because Newcastle were promoted last season. I hope we are promoted again with Fulham.’
