Forest boss relishing Swans challenge
Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi is looking forward to taking on league leaders Swansea on Saturday.
The Swans have made a blistering start to the new campaign, with 16 points from a possible 18 on the board.
Swansea claimed a morale-boosting 1-0 win at potential Championship title rivals Leeds United prior to the international break, but Lamouchi hopes to derail their promotion push at the Liberty Stadium this weekend.
Forest have already claimed a draw with Leeds and beaten another promotion favourite in Fulham this season and Lamouchi now has his sights set on a result against the Swans.
“It will be a very tough game, of course,” he told reporters on Thursday. “We go to the leaders and the best team until now. They are unbeaten at home, three games and three wins, so they are confident.
“With their last result at Leeds, this game is really important for them mentally and to give more confidence.
“They are a different team to Leeds or Fulham, but they are a really strong team. They have a good balance between the offensive and defensive parts.”
He added: “We need to work hard and of course to play well and we want the best performance for the best result.”
