Seventeen-year-old Samuel will join up with the Young Lions to take part in the Limoges Tournament – a round robin competition involving France, Portugal and Ukraine.
Jordan Obita was also picked for the squad, but had to withdraw due to injury.
Reading’s academy manager Eamonn Dolan said the call-ups show the club in a positive light.
