Robins boss defends tactics
Bristol City boss Derek McInnes has been forced to defend his decision to field just one striker in his side's 4-1 defeat to Wolves.
Ryan Taylor played on his own up front, with Sam Baldock and Steven Davies left on the bench for the Robins, following their victory over Middlesbrough using the same game plan.
However, following the heavy defeat to strugglers Wolves on Saturday, McInnes has come under some pressure for his tactics.
He said: "Performances like that leave you open to criticism about your formation and tactics - that is par for the course.
"But no-one was complaining about us playing one up front when we got the draw against Blackpool and when we beat Middlesbrough.
"Let's not be kidded; playing with two strikers would not have made a difference to the goals we are losing."
