The Denmark international has now made it into double figures for the season and appears to be showing Brentford fans his best form since joining the club in 2015.
Vibe, who made a slow start to the campaign after returning from Olympic Games duty in Rio, has now scored nine of his eleven goals in all competitions since January.
"I've got to give a special mention to Lasse. He worked his socks off and deserved his goals," Smith said, following the win at the Pirelli Stadium.
"I said when I first came in. I'd seen him against Bolton and our first game against MK Dons and he was outstanding.
"He's got some great movement. I thought he got in behind them a number of times in the first half and deserved his goals.
"I'm a former centre half myself and I wouldn't want to mark him."
