Blues face striker dilemma
Carlo Ancelotti has to decide who will partner Nicolas Anelka in attack when Chelsea take on Hull City on Saturday.
Ancelotti will be without Didier Drogba for the duration of the African Nations Cup so Daniel Sturridge is expected to get the nod in attack alongside Anelka, who is fit again after a hamstring injury, if the Chelsea boss goes with a 4-4-2 system.
The Blues are also without Salomon Kalou, Michael Essien and John Mikel Obi who are also in Africa, while Jose Bosingwa will be missing as he battles to return from a knee injury.
Elsewhere Portugal star Deco is missing with a calf injury.
