Fabregas wants end to exit talk

Cesc Fabregas is hoping his impressive display for Chelsea in Tuesday's EFL Cup win at Leicester will end talk of him wanting to leave.
The Spain international playmaker has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge having struggled to force his way into Blues boss Antonio Conte's first-team plans since he took charge in the summer.
Fabregas has yet to start a Premier League game so far in the Italian's tenure, but he did get the nod for the EFL Cup tie at the King Power Stadium.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona star played a key role in helping Chelsea come back from 2-0 down to take the tie into extra time, before he scored two goals in as many minutes to seal a 4-2 win.
It leaves Chelsea on the trail of silverware in the EFL Cup and Fabregas is hoping his performance will help silence those who are suggesting that he is looking for a departure.
"I was happy to play first of all from the start, and secondly if I can help the team then fantastic," Fabregas told Sky Sports.
"Hopefully this will shut up a few journalists, a few dailies, a few whatever, who are talking rubbish all the time and focus on what's important, Chelsea winning.
"I'm focusing on playing well and when I have the chance I'll show what I can do, because I know what I can do and it's a lot for this team.
"I think we played quite well, to be honest," Fabregas said. "We know they are a dangerous team on the counter, which is what they did, but I think we showed great character, as I think we've been showing during the whole season."
Punters wanting to use their free bet might want to back Fabregas to grab another goal in Chelsea's Premier League trip to Arsenal on Saturday evening.
