Allardyce defines survival plan

Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce says his side need to finish top of the current mini-league developing at the foot of the table.

Wins over Middlesbrough and West Brom have lifted the Eagles out of the relegation places and they have another chance to pick up points when Watford visit Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Allardyce has developed a reputation as a survival specialist over the years and has identified what he believes his troops need to do if they are to secure their Premier League status.
He told the club's official website: "We need to finish top of a league of seven at the bottom of the table and even one or two above that may drop in if we continue with good results, or Leicester and Swansea continue to pick up victories.
"This would drag one or two more into the group but to try and finish at the top of that bottom seven is our aim and that would be fantastic."
