The former Inter Milan coach will make his debut in the Premier League this weekend, with the Eagles set to welcome Huddersfield Town to Selhurst Park.
De Boer has revealed he has settled quickly in London and the Dutchman is now determined to make his mark in England.
Defenders Jairo Riedewald and Timothy Fosu-Mensah have already joined the club, while midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has moved across London on a season-long loan deal.
De Boer believes his team are in a good position and is confident the fans will be pleased with their play this season.
He told the Croydon Advertiser: "They [the players] are starting to believe. Results help that progress. But I think with the players we have here, this system is very suitable.
"And I am very excited [for the first game]. Everyone is looking forward to it. That is the most important game and we all work towards that. A full stadium at Selhurst Park with fanatical fans and hopefully we can make them proud, and south London proud."
