The 22-year-old is earning rave reviews with his performances north of the border, and his form has not gone unnoticed by the Eagles, who are said to be lining up a swoop.
Boss Roy Hodgson will be hoping to boost his relegation battlers with a number of new signings and Hendry could be one of them, although he does face strong competition.
Southampton and Newcastle also want to bring him to the Premier League, while Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers could offer him the chance to stay in Scotland.
Rodgers said he was impressed with the youngster on their meeting with Dundee in October.
"The boy Hendry at the back I thought was excellent," said Rodgers. "He’s quick and strong and is a good size. Scotland need centre-halves and that looks like a good kid. He’s tall, he can run and he can pass. He looks a talent."
