Palace ready to increase Adrian bid

Crystal Palace could be set to make an improved bid for West Ham goalkeeper Adrian after reportedly failing with a £3.5m offer.

The Hammers keeper is keen to move on this summer following the signing of England No.1 Joe Hart on loan but the club have so far blocked any attempt for him to leave, despite interest from Newcastle and now Palace.

The Eagles have apparently had a £3.5m offer turned down and the Spaniard looks set to stay at the London Stadium as things stand, unless boss Slaven Bilic signs a new senior keeper to replace him.

Adrian was first-choice when arriving in 2013 and he's made 123 appearances in all competitions, but lost his place last season to Darren Randolph and will have to play understudy to Hart this term following Randolph's move to Middlesbrough.

Eagles boss Frank de Boer is after the 30-year-old as he is believed to be keen to find an upgrade on Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni at Selhurst Park but he will have to make an improved offer in order to tempt the Hammers into a deal.
