Palace suffer Schlupp setback

Crystal Palace are thought to be considering a second bid for Leicester's Jeff Schlupp having had their first bid rejected.

Eagles boss Sam Allardyce is eager to bolster his attacking options at Selhurst Park this month, with the club lingering just one point above the relegation zone.

Reports suggest that an initial £9m bid for Schlupp has been rejected for the 24-year-old, who has not featured in any of the last seven games for the Premier League champions.

The Ghana international is thought to be looking to leave the King Power Stadium if not guaranteed game time, and Palace might well be tempted to come in with a second offer for the winger this month.
