Brentford have recalled Jake Reeves from his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon due to an injury crisis at Griffin Park.
The Bees have been forced to call the midfielder back after just 28 days with the League Two newcomers.
The 19-year-old was due to stay at Kingsmeadow until mid-January but Brentford boss Uwe Rosler insisted he had no choice but to bring the teenager back.
Rosler has recently lost Kevin O'Connor, Tom Adeyemi, Jonathan Douglas and Marcello Trotta to injury in midfield so Reeves will return to boost the options.
Rosler said: "With injuries to experienced players, we are missing them."
Reeves played five games for AFC Wimbledon and is expected to go straight into the Brentford squad for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Southend this week.
