Dolberg poised for Ajax exit
Striker Kasper Dolberg looks set to depart Ajax in this transfer window with French side Nice reportedly frontrunners for his signature.
The 21-year-old Denmark international, who has scored 44 goals in 117 appearances for the Eredivisie champions since arriving from Silkeborg in 2015.
However, Dolberg has been linked with a move this summer after slipping behind Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Dusan Tadic in coach Erik ten Hag’s plans this season.
Ajax have reached an oral agreement with OGG Nice for the transfer of Kasper Dolberg. TSG Hoffenheim was also interested, but preferred a deal on loan. Player himself wants to be sold, club likely to earn a fee of on and around €20m, per De Telegraaf. https://t.co/57ZFxcowLw

He was initially linked with a switch to German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim which resulted in him being left out of the squad for Thursday’s 3-2 Champions League third qualifying round second-leg win against PAOK.
That move failed to materialise, but after Dolberg was again absent as Ajax thrashed VVV Venlo 4-1 in the Eredivisie on Saturday, news emerged that he is now set to join Ligue 1 side Nice.
