Goals from Nicolai Jorgensen and Tonny Vilhena saw the Eredivisie leaders win 2-1 at Heerenveen on Sunday to continue their march towards a first title since the 1998-99 season.
It means they head into the international break full of confidence and now have two weeks to ponder their next outing when they face nearest challengers Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena on April 2.
With them now six points clear after their rivals could only draw 1-1 at Excelsior, Van Bronckhorst admits confidence is high within the camp and says he is already looking forward to what could be the decisive day in the title race against Peter Bosz's men.
He said: "We're going with a good sense of the national team break and can now rest. The next event is the Classic, which is a nice. We can do very good business in Amsterdam. We are able to go for it."
