Donovan deal urged
Everton skipper Phil Neville has urged David Moyes to pull out all the stops and sign Landon Donovan on a regular basis.
The LA Galaxy star is on loan at the club until the end of next month but he has already made himself a integral part of the team and Neville believes the club should do all they can in getting him back next season.
Whilst Moyes would love to sign him he has already admitted he will not be able to get him on a permanent basis and the only hope is for a similar loan deal to the one he is currently on.
Neville said: "He has fit in superbly and we are just a little bit sad he has to leave in a month's time.
"It is what it is, Landon is here for two months and we have just got to accept that and let's just hope we can get him back for another two months next year.
"He loves living in LA and loves playing in the MLS so we have just got to accept he will not be staying but he has been fantastic for us and let's hope that continues.
"He has come in at a time when we needed a bit of a spark and he has provided that and he has fitted in superbly."
