The 19-year-old is on loan from the Spanish champions for the entire season to get regular football and he has taken his early opportunities with both hands.
The Spanish Under-21 international, who made five first-team appearances for Barca last term, is now hoping his cameo appearances will keep him in the thoughts of boss Roberto Martinez when he picks his first team.
He told Echo: "I have played a little less than in Spain, but I am happy there, getting involved little by little.
"I am working every day and for that, everything arrives. If you work hard, you'll get your reward.
"Every game in the Premier League is very nice. There are differences with the Spanish League, of course, but it is football. I'm very happy with the experience."
