Starlet on Toffees radar

Everton are said to be among the clubs tracking young forward Jack Harrison, who is currently starring for New York City.

The 20-year-old was on the books of Manchester United before he moved Stateside as a 14-year-old, but reports claim he could soon be heading back to England.

Harrison has fired home 10 goals for his MLS side this season, a tally which has earned him a call-up to the England under-21s and also alerted a host of clubs to his ability ahead of the January transfer window opening.

Leicester City and Brighton are also said to be keeping tabs on the player, who could be available for just £6million, and New York City are bracing themselves for plenty of interest in the new year.

Everton are in need of a new striker and are reported to be heading the queue of interested parties despite not currently having a manager following the departure of Ronald Koeman.
