Everton have received some positive news after it was revealed Morgan Schneiderlin's calf problem is only a minor issue.
The Frenchman limped off just half an hour into Saturday's 4-0 win over Hull and having received treatment on the field, it was feared his setback could be serious.
However, after undergoing a scan, the Toffees have now confirmed through their website that the problem is not serious,
The club's medical staff are still to decide on when he will be able to return and say they will continue to monitor his progress at their Finch Farm training base.
Schneiderlin joined Everton in January following a disappointing spell with Manchester United and seems to have rediscovered his form under Ronald Koeman, whom he previously worked with at Southampton.
The midfielder will be hopeful of returning immediately after the international break, with his side's next fixture the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on April 1.
