Lewis Hamilton is refusing to panic despite seeing Nico Rosberg overtake him to sit at the top of the drivers' standings.
Hamilton opened up a 19-point lead over his Mercedes team-mate after winning his fourth Grand Prix in a row in Germany.
However, Rosberg has claimed the chequered flag in Belgium, Italy and, at the weekend, Singapore to usurp the Brit at the top of the standings with six races to go.
The German flyer now has an eight-point lead and the wind in his sails as the teams move on to the the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on October 2.
Hamilton cut a disconsolate figure at the Marina Bay Street Circuit and was strangely subdued through the weekend, but he is still hopeful of turning things around.
"The next race will tell," said the world champion when asked if the manner of his defeat was a one-off. "I'm not thinking about it too much at the moment.
"We still have six races so I've got to keep pushing and hope for the best."
