Team principal Toto Wolff says Nico Rosberg's victory in Singapore was his best performance during his time with Mercedes.
The German moved eight points clear at the top of the Drivers' Championship with his third successive race victory, taking full advantage of starting on pole to secure his first career victory at the Marina Bay street circuit.
Having played second fiddle to team-mate Lewis Hamilton for the past two years, Rosberg dominated the Brit all weekend, finishing 0.704s ahead of him in qualifying.
Wolff says he was blown away by Rosberg's pace in Singapore and was full of praise for the 31-year-old, claiming his latest triumph was the best of the 21 race wins he has presided over as Mercedes team principal since taking the job in 2013.
"I have known Nico since 2013 and that is the best Nico Rosberg I have ever seen throughout the weekend since then," said Wolff. "We have the tendency of saying Lewis has awesome pace.
"This is what we have seen with Nico this weekend - he was just blindingly fast, was [nearly] six tenths quicker than P2 in qualifying in Singapore, something we are not used to seeing at all here.
"In the same way, he drove the race, he had a great start, controlled the race, and on the contrary Lewis didn't have a clean weekend."
