The Cottagers boss recently tied down Damien Duff to a new deal and, with 11 key first-team squad members such as Mark Schwarzer, Brede Hangeland, Mladen Petric, Giorgos Karagounis, Simon Davies, Chris Baird and Philippe Senderos all set to be out of contract this summer, Jol has plenty of work on his plate in the coming months.
And, while the majority of players have already opened talks, Jol feels it will be a matter of time before further announcements are made, not to mention the fact some players will automatically qualify for contracts if they trigger clauses in their respective current ones.
He said: "There's a lot of players finishing their contracts [at the end of the season] and we are talking to most of them.
"We will have a few more in the next couple of weeks.
"There's a couple with clauses if they play more than 25 matches will get an automatic extension."
