Berger not confident of Ryder Cup place

Daniel Berger feels victory in this week's Tour Championship will probably not be enough to earn him a Ryder Cup spot.
USA captain Davis Love III has delayed naming the 12th member of his team to face Europe until after the FedEx Cup finale, with the likes of Bubba Watson and Justin Thomas thought to be in the frame to get the nod.
However, there could be a case that Love will go for an in-form player and success for Berger at East Lake on Sunday would certainly give the veteran a nudge in the right direction.
The 23-year-old is currently 26th in the FedEx Cup standings and has little chance of scooping the $10m bonus pot for the overall winner, but could still pick up a huge pay cheque for victory in Atlanta.
However, the Florida resident still feels he will come up short even if he takes the spoils later this week.
"Obviously, I want it really bad but, the reality is, I honestly don’t know if I win [the Tour Championship], I get picked," Berger said. "I see Bubba. I feel like it’s already kind of a done deal, but it does mean a lot to me [to be considered]."
