The 23-year-old grabbed the headlines on Tuesday night as he scored a superb goal during the 3-0 win over St Johnstone.
Edwards let fly from 25 yards to score the club's second of the night and he is continuing to dream big this month.
He is hoping to add more goals to his game going forward as he tries to impress the national team coaches ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers.
Australia take on Japan and Thailand in the coming weeks and Edwards is hoping to earn his first cap.
"The international manager’s selection mantra is based on form and fitness," he told the Glasgow Evening Times.
"There is a squad being announced next week for games against Japan and Thailand so hopefully I should hear by the weekend if I’m going to be in it or not.
"If he’s watching the St Johnstone game it wouldn’t do me any harm – hopefully they show it on television back home!
"I have heard from the boys who play in the international team that he watches everything, so that’s very positive."
