Athletic Bilbao boss Marcelo Bielsa has admitted that he's been disappointed by how his side have played this term.
The Argentine took over at the San Mames in the summer of 2011 and transformed his precocious bunch of youngsters into one of the most exciting teams in Europe, with their most notable result being two wins over Manchester United in the Europa League.
However, following the departure of Javi Martinez and the previous uncertainty of Fernando Llorente's future, the Basques have been poor this time around and after losing at Malaga on Saturday, they now sit 15th in the table.
Bielsa admits that he has been saddened by how his side have performed this term and believes their display in Andalucía summed up their plight.
"We did not start the game well," the 57-year-old said. "They scored an early goal, but from the end of the first half to the end of the game we had chances.
"Our campaign has been a negative one, but we can explain all the losses. I'd rather not talk about it."
