N’Diaye spent the second half of last season on loan to Premier League side Hull City in their failed bids to attain top flight status.
He made only 13 appearances for the Yellow Submarine last season after being signed by previous manager Marcelino Garcia Toral but new manager Fran Escriba did not place N’Diaye in his future plans.
The move to Hull followed and now Cadena Ser is reporting that the 27-year-old could be in line for a cut price move to Villarreal.
This is after Hull ruled out a permanent move following their relegation from the Premier League and the players’ wage demands being too high.
The eight times capped midfielder, previously enjoyed a successful two year spell at Real Betis before his Villarreal switch.
