Neymar agrees Blaugrana stay

Neymar has ended the speculation surrounding his future at Barcelona by agreeing a new deal at the Camp Nou until 2021.

The Brazil international had been linked with moves away from the Catalan giants over the summer, with Manchester United thought to be one of the clubs interested in his services.

Having joined from Santos in 2013, Neymar has become one of the biggest names in the game and the Blaugrana were keen to tie the 24-year-old down to fresh terms at the Camp Nou.

The club confirmed on Monday afternoon that terms have now been agreed with the South American forward, who will actually put pen to paper on the contract on Friday.

Barca have fixed his buy-out clause at £181m for the first year of his new contract, £200m for the second year and £226m for the remaining three years of his new contract.
