Amiens confirm Diabate signing
Ligue 1 club Amiens have announced the signing of Leicester winger Fousseni Diabate on a season-long loan deal.
The transfer window may have closed on Monday night in France, but new signings are still being announced, with Amiens confirming Diabate’s arrival on Wednesday after they submitted the relevant paperwork before the 11PM deadline.

The terms of the loan agreement mean Amiens don’t have an option to make the deal a permanent transfer, while Leicester can also recall Diabate in January.
Diabate has never really been able to establish himself after moving to the King Power Stadium from Gazelec Ajaccio for a reported £2million in January 2018 and he spent the second half of last season on loan at Turkish Super Lig outfit Sivasspor, scoring two goals in 17 appearances.
The 23-year-old will now be hoping to rediscover his best form in France and he could make his Amiens debut when they welcome Lyon to the Stade de la Licorne after the international break.
