Former Manchester United full-back Evra had his contract terminated by Marseille on Friday after being suspended from UEFA competition until the end of the campaign for kicking a supporter.
The 36-year-old was involved in an altercation with a member of Les Olympiens' travelling fans before the 1-0 Europa League defeat at Vitoria Guimaraes, with the defender red carded before the match kicked off.
Now without a club, the France international's career is up in the air, but Deschamps has confirmed he will be talking privately with Evra to discuss the finer details of what happened.
"The decisions that have been made, I'm not here to judge them," he said. "I will not go through you [the media] to give him a message. To give him a message I will do it directly, as I have always done.
"His situation is very complicated and I wouldn't wish anyone to be in this situation. But these actions have happened. They are there, they are heavy."
