Garcia keeping L'OM grounded

Marseille boss Rudi Garcia is refusing to get carried away despite his side's impressive start to the new Ligue 1 season.

L'OM have begun the domestic campaign with back-to-back top-flight victories, following up their opening-day success against Dijon with a hard-fought 1-0 triumph at Nantes on Saturday.

Garcia was certainly pleased with the way his side dug in at the Stade de la Beaujoire, although he was refusing to get too carried away with their overall performance.

"It is three points," the 53-year-old said. "We came here to put our overalls on and get down to work. Nantes were looking to bounce back and we knew what to expect, and at least from that point of view we did our job."

Marseille will be looking to continue their impressive start to the campaign when they take on Slovenian club Domzale in the first leg of their Europa League play-off round tie on Thursday.
