Mbappe has been linked with a host of clubs over the course of the summer transfer window after helping Monaco land the title last season.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have all been mooted as potential suitors, with reports this week indicating Mbappe's agent has met with PSG to discuss a possible move.
Jardim held a press conference on Friday ahead of Monaco's Ligue 1 opener at Dijon on Sunday and, unsurprisingly, he was asked about Mbappe's future.
The Monaco manager refused to discuss the speculation and claims he hasn't spoken to Mbappe about the transfer talk specifically.
He said: "I did not talk about the market (with Mbappe), I'm not going to talk about assumptions. I have private conversations with all the players, we talk about their goals, their ambitions."
