Monaco snare PSG starlet

Manchester United target Hannibal Mejbri is believed to be keen on a move away from Monaco at the end of the season.

Monaco have signed teenage defender Arthur Zagre on a three-year deal from Ligue 1 rivals Paris Saint-Germain.

The 17-year-old left-back made his first league appearance for PSG in the 4-0 win over Toulouse earlier this month, coming on as a substitute in the 66th minute for Kylian Mbappe.

Zagre has now departed Paris for the Stade Lous II, and he is delighted to have secured a move to Monaco.

“I am very proud to be involved with AS Monaco,” he told the club website. “This is the opportunity for me to continue to progress in an ambitious project. I will do everything I can to show my qualities and try to save time.“

Zagre is a France youth international and has made seven appearances for the Under-19 squad.

Monaco have endured a tough start to the season, Leonardo Jardim’s men picking up just one point from three games so far ahead of their trip to Strasbourg on Sunday.
