Mbappe to delay decision on future until end of the season

Paris Saint-Germain

PSG forward Kylian Mbappe will not make up his mind on his future until the end of the season, according to reports.

The Frenchman has been constantly linked with a switch away from the Parc des Princes and is seemingly never out of the gossip columns.

He has previously been courted by the likes of Real Madrid, who are looking to regain their status as one of the best teams in the world after a couple of uncertain years.

They signed Eden Hazard, among others, in the summer as Zinedine Zidane was given a huge transfer kitty in order to improve the faltering squad.

However, despite many additions, Mbappe is understood to still be high on Los Blancos wish list going forward.

His form this season has been unwavering – he has scored 10 goals in 13 matches across all competitions.

That form has helped PSG retain their place at the top of Ligue 1.

After 14 games, they are five points clear of Marseille in second with a game in hand.

Despite being heavily linked with a move away from the French capital, it is understood the forward is set to commit himself to the club until at least the end of the season.

Reports in France say he will weigh up his options depending on the success of PSG, with a lot resting on how well they do in the Champions League.

Even after huge investment in the side, PSG have never advanced beyond the quarter-final stage of Europe’s premier club competition.

Mbappe is under contract until 2022 but talks have yet to begin over a new deal yet.

Despite club officials claiming he will stay long-term, his future is still up in the air.
