Marseille boss Franck Passi has said that it is becoming 'urgent' that his side secure a victory ahead of Wednesday's trip to Rennes.

Ligue 1: Passi calls for 'urgent' win

The 50-year-old has endured a difficult start to the Ligue 1 campaign with just one win from their opening five matches as the side sits down in 15th spot in the table on five points.
Passi has requested that he is given the time required to get the players on track, but admits that he needs a three-point haul to take some of the pressure off his shoulders.

He told the Ligue 1 website: "We are building something here and we are progressing. We've just faced two very good teams in Nice and Lyon. We lost, unjustly, to Nice, and we didn't lose to OL on Sunday.
"What the players are doing on the pitch is good and I hope that when everyone is fit that we'll win more games. In a fortnight I think the large majority of the players will be ready."
Looking ahead to the Rennes trip, he added: "The urgency is there. That's the reality. But people can't say the performances aren't good when they are good."
