Reims land Donis from Stuttgart
Ligue 1 club Stade Reims have signed Anastasios Donis on a season-long loan deal from German outfit Stuttgart.
Reims have an obligation to buy the Greece international striker at the end of the season, as long as they avoid relegation from Ligue 1.
Donis spent two seasons with Stuttgart in the Bundesliga but has now left the club following their relegation to the second tier of German football last season.
The 23-year-old does have experience of French football as he spent the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Nice from Juventus before his switch to Germany, managing five goals in 22 appearances in all competitions during his stay in the south of France.
“We’d like to thank Tassos for his work here and wish him all the best for the rest of his career,” Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat told the club’s official website.
