Former Metz star Louis Saha has ruled out a return to Ligue 1 despite the fact that he has yet to find a new club this summer.
The 33-year-old moved from Metz to Fulham in 2000 and played four seasons at Craven Cottage before Manchester United came calling.
He enjoyed success at Old Trafford but was eventually sold to Everton in 2008.
After four injury-plagued seasons on Merseyside, the former France international hit-man joined Spurs on a six-month deal last January but is now on the open market after leaving White Hart Lane.
Reports suggested that he might be heading back to France, but the talented forward has made it clear that his future does not lie in his home land, writing on Twitter: "A return to France? I think not."
