Seri happy in Nice

Jean Michael Seri says he does not have any plans to leave Nice this January despite reported interest from Barcelona and PSG.

The 26-year-old was close to making a switch to the Camp Nou in the summer window but a move fell through with Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere blaming the Bluagrana for failing to get the deal over the line.

Barca are expected to come back in for Seri but the Ivory Coast international says he has no intention of leaving Nice mid-season.

“A high-level player doesn’t have a minute to lose with this sort of thing,” he said on Friday.

“It’s over, we have to turn the page and face the important moments to come with my club.

“I will not leave Nice until June. It doesn’t matter what club wants to buy me in the winter.”
