Bodin bow on birthday

Crewe Alexandra

Billy Bodin is in line to mark his 20th birthday with his Crewe debut against Hereford.

Bodin moved to the Gresty Road outfit on loan from Swindon until the end of the season on Thursday.

Jordan Brown is in line to make his full debut. Former West Ham youngster Brown has made four substitute appearances since joining Alex and a thigh injury to Matt Tootle offers him a route into the starting XI.

Tootle hobbled out of the midweek win over Bradford and is set to spend two weeks on the sidelines. In his absence Harry Davis reverted to right-back and Brown was introduced on the left of the defence.

Elsewhere the Railwaymen have no new injury worries, although defender Carl Martin is still out with a thigh problem.

Alex are one of the form sides in npower League Two and an eight-match unbeaten run leaves them three points shy of the top seven.
