The 31-year-old is no stranger to the Grecians, having played for the club between 2004 and 2011.
Jones is delighted to be rejoining Exeter and told the club’s official website: “It feels really good to be fair.
“When I found out there was interest, it really excited me. It was a no-brainer for me. As soon as I found out about it there was only one place that I wanted to come to.
“I’m glad it is all done. It has been a few years since I was here and I have been at a few clubs since then, but it feels really good to be back.”
