Foxes ace's injury fears allayed

Wilfred Ndidi is reportedly set to return to training with Leicester on Thursday despite suffering a hamstring problem with Nigeria.

It was feared that the 20-year-old midfielder, who moved to the Foxes in a £17million switch from Belgian side Genk in the January transfer window, was facing a spell on the sidelines when he was forced to limp off during his country's 1-0 victory over Zambia last Saturday.

Ndidi returned to Leicester earlier in the week and has been assessed by the club's medical staff and it now seems the problem was nothing serious.

Indeed All Nigerian Soccer claims a source has informed them that, after missing Wednesday's training session, Ndidi will be joining up with the rest of his Leicester team-mates on Thursday with a view to being involved in the squad to face West Brom at the King Power Stadium on Monday night.
