Foxes chief sticks by squad

Nigel Pearson is set to pick his side from an unchanged Leicester squad for the trip to Derby, despite the 2-1 midweek loss to Reading.

The Foxes chief again looks set to be without defenders Bruno Berner and Alex Bruce for the Midlands derby tussle at Pride Park as the duo missed the 2-1 home defeat to the Royals with calf and groin problems respectively.

Central defender Wayne Brown is fit following a hamstring injury and Pearson must decide whether to put him back into the starting XI against the Rams at the expense of either Jack Hobbs or Michael Morrison.

Jay Spearing could secure a first start since joining on loan from Liverpool after making his debut as a second-half substitute against the Royals, while midfielder Nicky Adams and strike quartet Steve Howard, Yann Kermorgant, Dany N'Guessan and James Vaughan are also vying for a start.
